Toledo mayor blasts business ‘poaching’; Finkbeiner says Wood County is wooing city firm (The Toledo Blade)
Mayor Carty Finkbeiner yesterday accused Wood County of economic development “poaching,” an apparent reference to Toledo business FedEx Ground’s search for a new site. Mayor Finkbeiner accused Wood County of trying to steal an existing business away from Toledo, saying that violates an understanding that has been in place for 15 years.
